Meet the Owner Operator- Michelle Marcum
West Richland Golf Course originally opened in 1955. The course was redesigned by Rod Marcum, the 1989 Washington State Open Champion, in 1986 after taking over management. Owner/Operator, Michelle Marcum, continues to carry on the Rod’s vision, “affordable golf for everyone.”
Head Golf Pro-Joe Perdue, PGA Class 'A' Professional joined in May 2009.
Joe grew up in the Pacific Northwest where he started playing golf at the age of three. He was the #1 player on both his high school and college golf teams, leading Central Washington University to its first-evr N.A.I.A. national appearance in 1981. He has been a PGA Professional since 1982 and over the past 27 years has taught thousands of golfers, from beginnersto PGA Professionals, high school and college golf teams, the physically challended, left-handers, and those as young as three and as old as 89. He was director for Western Washington's "Clubs For Kids" program, a Nike Golf School instructor, and is a proponent of the Ernest Jones and Manuel de la Torre swing methods. He has built his career by helping people play better and feel better about themselves and their game.
